The Charleston is an upbeat and playful dance from the 1920s. Our six week course will guide you through the iconic moves from the era and teach you a fun routine. With great dance steps and music to match, you can develop your dance skills in a friendly class setting. You don’t need a partner or any previous dance experience, it’ s suitable for all levels. Each course also includes tutorial videos so you also practice at home.

WHAT’S INCLUDED ON THE COURSE - VIDEO SUPPORT

We provide you with tutorial videos so you can practice in between classes. Your course includes:

  • Pre-recorded videos which teach you the routine

  • A recording of the online lesson via Zoom

  • The option to join the live Zoom lesson if you can’t make your session

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Angeline has a passion for vintage dance, clothes and the Charleston. She was keen to bring more adult dance classes to Darlington where she has an established dance business 6th Street Swing. She has been running Lindy hop dance classes for ten years and also teaches solo jazz. She loves the Charleston because it’s so much fun, she can’t wait to launch the new classes in the new year.
