COURSE DESCRIPTION & Course routine Preview

The Charleston is an upbeat and playful dance from the 1920s. Our course will guide you through the iconic moves from the era and teach you a fun routine. With great dance steps and music to match, you can develop your dance skills in a friendly class setting. You don’t need a partner or any previous dance experience, it’ s suitable for all levels. The course also includes tutorial videos so you also practice at home.

WHAT’S INCLUDED ON THE COURSE - VIDEO SUPPORT

We provide you with tutorial videos so you can practice in between classes. Your course includes:

Pre-recorded videos which teach you the routine
A recording of the online lesson via Zoom
The option to join the Zoom lesson live if you can’t make your session

ABOUT Elena THE TEACHER

CHARLESTON TEACHER: ELENA

Elena is the co-founder of MyCharleston and has been teaching dance for over 10 years. Bubbly and enthusiastic, Elena has a passion for teaching and making dancing accessible for all.

As a complete beginner I enrolled in the course with some nervousness. Elena is an incredible teacher who gave clear direction and plenty of opportunities to review the steps. I enjoyed every session, and the practise video's available in between classes. I cannot believe we learned a whole routine and had so much fun along the way! Looking forward to the next classes!
