The Charleston is an upbeat and playful dance from the 1920s. Our six week dance course will guide you through the iconic moves from the era and teach you a fun routine. With great dance steps and music to match, you can develop your dance skills in a friendly class setting. You don’t need a partner or any previous dance experience, it’ s suitable for all levels. Each course also includes tutorial videos so you also practice at home.

WHAT’S INCLUDED ON THE COURSE - VIDEO SUPPORT

We provide you with tutorial videos so you can practice in between classes.

Your course includes:

  • Pre-recorded videos which teach you the routine

  • A recording of the online lesson via Zoom

ABOUT THE dance TEACHER


Megan Benjamin is a singer, actress, and dancer, originally from Oneonta, NY. She began dancing at the age of six and has trained in styles such as ballet, tap, musical theatre dance, jazz, and burlesque dance. Megan has performed in several stage productions all throughout the United States, including “The Music Man,” “The Pirates of Penzance,” “Annie,” and “A Christmas Carol.” She currently resides in Astoria, NY with her fiancé, and continues her dance education at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway.
