ABOUT THE TEACHER

Debbie has been dancing with MyCharleston for 3 years and has trained to be a teacher with us this autumn. Friendly and welcoming, Debbie is looking forward to teaching people of all abilities to Charleston.

Debbie is a lovely dance teacher. She’s always friendly and welcoming, which creates a really lovely atmosphere in her class. She has a knack of breaking down the moves into smaller, easy-to-follow steps, making learning much more manageable.
She’s incredibly patient too—no matter how many times we ask her ‘can you show us that again?’ , she does it with a smile and never seems fed up with us! Her encouraging approach really helps boost our confidence and pushes us to improve without feeling pressured.
Debbie also knows how to keep the balance between being relaxed and making sure we’re progressing. Her classes are fun and laid-back, but she still manages to get the best out of everyone. It’s a great environment to learn in, with just the right mix of focus and fun.
If you’re looking for a dance class where you can learn at your own pace while enjoying yourself, Debbie is the perfect choice.
